A couple weeks ago Brinley had her first Gymnastics meet. We were all anxious to go to her meet and see her perform her routines. Even Temple and the twins came to cheer her on!! (Temple a former gymnast herself)
Brinley was a little nervous but mostly excited. She competed in four different events. The first was the beam
Then vault, bars , and floor!
She did the best on floor and vault. She scored a 9.4 on vault which earned her a second place medal and a 9.1 on floor which she got third. 
She loved the whole experience and was anxious for the next one. She has been practicing with this team since last summer. They spend over ten hours a week together and Brinley has made some good friends. Her and Hailey have really hit it off. They are constantly together and have recently been telling their teammates that they are twins.
I'm glad that she has made some good friends and is learning discipline from this experience. She loves to go to to gym and is constantly doing a flip, cartwheel, leap, back handspring or turn in our home. We can't get her to sit still!! It will be interesting to see what will happen in the future with her gymnastics. I'm not sure if I'm in this for the long haul, but... we'll see.

Wow...I had no idea Brinley was competing already. That's sooo cool!! Congrats on doing such a great job at her first meet. And take it from someone one who's been there....gymnastics IS a LONG HAUL!!! A fun one too though! :o)
Brinley looks so professional! I love the poses on the winners' stand! We're darn proud of her and wish wse had half her energy!
