Here, There, & Everywhere!

Jon got home today from a eight day business trip. He went Here, There, & Everywhere! His work took him first to Los Angeles, CA to Washington D.C., to New York City, NY, to New Haven, CT, to Chicago, IL, and finally back home! And he is glad to be here!!! While he was gone I felt like I was doing the same by going Here, There, & Everywhere! Sometimes I feel like I'm in my car more than I'm at my house!!!

Last Saturday I took Morgan to and from Dance Festival practice and home from the stake dance. Mason had two basketball games, and the girls were at their cousins birthday party! During the week Morgan had dance team tryouts (for High School) four days after school, plus Dance Team at her current school, and dance class on Wednesday. Mason had track everyday after school plus a track meet. Brooklyn had track and then I had to take her carpool to Jazz Dance. Brinley started her team at gymnastics and went 5 hours to gym this week. I took Maddie's preschool carpool twice this week and also had to drive to her Ballet class today! I also had Dentist appointments for the three little girls (no cavities, YEAH!), piano lessons, and volunteering at the school! We did miss out on the National Junior Honor Society Ceremony for Mason and we skipped Dance Festival practice this week!!! I'm glad that I'm not a single parent! Jon said, "You didn't miss me, you just miss everything I do for you!" My answer to that is yes I do miss having you around to help out, BUT we all missed our Jonny Boy and we're very glad to have him home!!!

It makes me tired just remembering what it was like to run hither and yon like you! It's great to have involved children and supportive parents! Good job!

You didn't mention that quite a few of those carpools you were driving as a favor for your (loser) friend.

BELIEVE ME...I live the very same life!! Being in the car all day is exhausting and sometimes I ask myself, "how far can they stretch me before I break?" But here's a thought....I'll have another driver very soon to help out. Yeah!
